Hi! I'm Arati.
I illustrate and design everything in my shop. All products are made in the UK, using recyclable or biodegradable materials.
I am currently fundraising for Cancer Research UK
10% of retail orders of prints, stationery and homewares online and in person will be donated to Cancer Research UK via Work for Good
Cancer Research UK is the world’s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving lives through research, influence and information. They support research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses. This pioneering work has helped save millions of lives.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: DUE TO THE CURRENT GLOBAL HEALTH CRISIS, DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY MAY BE DELAYED, ESPECIALLY AROUND CHRISTMAS.
BREXIT and EU Customers: Please place your order on our website as normal. I am not VAT registered, so you are not being charged VAT. You are liable to pay taxes and duty charged by Customs in your country, which I cannot give guidance on. Please be aware that you may be charged a fee for delivery by your country/courier/postal service for which I am not responsible.
For expedited delivery email me at email@example.com or if you have any questions about a time-sensitive order.
My products are usually shipped ASAP. Some items may be made to order (indicated on product pages) within 5–7 working days. Items already in stock will ship on the same day or next working day.
If your purchases are 'pre-ordered' this just means they are being printed/made and will ship within 7–10 working days; please let me know if you need your order sooner and I will do my best to speed up the process (email me at firstname.lastname@example.org).
Items will be shipped from London, UK, within 5–10 business days of payment being received, unless you have selected special or expedited delivery (when available).
Shipping costs vary depending on your country.
Just a friendly reminder that there is no such thing as 'free shipping'... It's a service that costs money. If you're getting free shipping, that means the shipper is paying for it. That's why a lot of us who have small one-woman (or man) businesses have a minimum spend to qualify for 'free' shipping. It's also why a lot of us can't offer free shipping across our entire range. I know most people who shop independent are lovely and totally understand this ♥️ I hope you do too.
I offer free postage to UK mainland on orders over £25. Standard postal costs are from £8 to £15 for other countries. If you would like urgent shipping, please contact me. Orders within the greater London area could be organised as a pickup from my studio in west London.International orders (outside the UK) qualify for free shipping on orders over £100. International (non UK) orders can sometimes take up to 4 weeks to arrive. International buyers are responsible for any and all Customs Charges, Taxes & Additional Postal Fees.
LAST DATES FOR SHIPPING IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS
(I will update this each year):
Royal Mail’s latest recommended posting dates for delivery in the UK are:
UK Mainland standard delivery: order before 11am on 17 December
UK Mainland tracked and signed delivery: order before 11am on 20 December
International standard delivery: order before 11am on 20 November
International tracked and signed delivery: order before 11am on December 5
Do note that we cannot be held responsible for customs delays in your country.
EU Customers: Please place your order on our website as normal. I am not VAT registered, so you are not being charged VAT. You are liable to pay taxes and duty charged by Customs in your country, which I cannot give guidance on. Please be aware that you may be charged a fee for delivery by your country/courier/postal service for which I am not responsible.
As a one-woman small business, I do not have a team to manage returns. Please contact me (Arati) directly at email@example.com and I will help you myself. Please do read the terms below so it's simpler to resolve the issue.
May I return my purchase?
If you do wish to return a purchase, the policy on ready-to-buy items lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately I can’t offer you a refund or exchange. All sales are subject to UK and EU law.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Please contact me to arrange a return so that I know it's coming back to me. You will be required to cover the cost of shipping and any customs fees for returns.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned, including bespoke made-to-order, and sale items.
Made-to-order items are only returnable if there is no personalised text – dates or names – or imagery in the custom design. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. I do not accept returns on products that are intimate (such as face masks, sleep masks etc.) or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
Additional non-returnable items:
* Gift cards
* Downloadable software products
* Some health and personal care items
* Samples and seconds items which are already heavily discounted and clearly labelled as samples and seconds.
To complete your return, I require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
* Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact me again.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
I only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, contact me and I'll do my best to help you.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, a refund will be sent to the gift giver and they will know about your return.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping/customs costs for returning your item. Please contact me for address details. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. I don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and there can be no refund if I do not receive it.
Loss through the post (UK Royal Mail) or courier is not covered under my refund policy. If you would like tracked delivery or insurance, please specify at time of purchase. Please allow 14 working days if you are based in the UK or 35 working days if you are outside the UK. If after this time your item still has not arrived then please contact me to investigate.
As I learn more and more about the problems the world is facing and how much each person can help to make a change, it has become rather important that I make sure everything I produce is biodegradable or recyclable and with a reduced carbon footprint.
So, with this in mind:
All my products are designed by me, and then printed or manufactured in the UK. I will continue to manufacture and source within the UK. I order products in small quantities, so wastage is minimal. Any seconds and misprints are reused or sold at a discount so they aren't wasted.
The paper I use for my art prints and stationery is either FSC certified or recycled. Fabrics are all natural materials, and usually organic. My suppliers are also committed to reducing their impact on the environment, and I actively look for this in new suppliers.
All orders are shipped in minimal, plastic-free packaging, which is biodegradable, compostable or recycled. I save the packaging from my own deliveries and reuse it wherever possible. Please try to reuse the packaging I send you!
Suggestions for improvements are welcomed, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
What forms of payment do you accept?
All major credit cards are accepted. I can also take cash payments if you choose to collect your delivery from my studio. All payments are process through Shopify so payment information is never retained or viewed by me.
Complimentary gift-wrapping and gift receipts
If you would like your order gift-wrapped in special paper, or sent directly to another address with a gift receipt, please leave a note at checkout.
Where are my products made and shipped from?
All originals are handmade by me (Arati Devasher), and my art prints are printed in the UK. Everything is shipped from London, UK.
Do you offer framing?
At present, no, I don't. My prints fit in any standard frame larger than the size of the print... I suggest you go to your local framer, an art shop like Jackson's Art (affiliate link) or a high street retailer.
All images, artwork, patterns and designs are copyright © Arati Devasher. Contact me for usage rights. Please note, buying my original pieces does not give you the copyright. The copyright remains with me.

Gorgeous art piece that is very practical in the kitchen! Literally using the art info to convert measurements. Definitely value for money! Thanks for this, Arati! Love love love it (yes I have to say love 3x)
I ordered this very last minute for Christmas and the seller got it to me super quick, whilst also explaining that it might not arrive in time and giving me the option to cancel the order if I wanted. This is the customer service all businesses should aim for! Lovely card too!
I really like my 'topsy-turvy kitchen' print from Arati. It's both colourful and creative in its use of elements that you usually find in a kitchen. It always makes me smile. I'm really glad I purchased it! Delivery was prompt and the print came carefully wrapped. Thank you Arati!
I ordered this print from Arty and I am so impressed. It is so beautiful, the detail and quality is fantastic and a really great price. So lovely to have something so bright and creative to stare at everyday. Thank you!
I have had my eye on this for a while, it is my favourite design by Arati. In person it is even more beautiful and I can't wait to use it and have it hanging in my kitchen!
This is my second order and I now have four. The masks are really well made and the colours are beautiful. They are by far the best masks I have bought and are really comfortable to wear.
These masks have seen me through eight hour train journeys and city heat. They wash well, fit well and are the only ones I’ve used that don’t encourage spots. Buy one. You won’t be disappointed.
Beautiful hand painted card delivered very quickly. Too lovely to give away.
I'm very impressed with this pen and ink and the artist. The piece is wonderful and the artist, very professional. The art work came in a matte, ready to be framed. It was well packaged and shipped quickly. I highly recommend this artist. I will most definitely purchase another piece from her.
Great art card. My wife will love it.
Arati was great to work with and painted two lovely pieces that really get compliments from every visitor to our home! We bought "Happy Cooking" kitchen chart too which is the best-- beautiful and practical-- which is all you can ask for in art that goes in a small New York City apartment!
The Pepperlicious tea towels have a lovely, pleasing print that goes so well with my kitchen. I have already washed them several times and the material is thick and absorbent. The patterns are vibrant and happy! I also like the fact that they come as a set of 2, which means one is always at hand when the other has gone for a wash. Thank you for my lovely tea towels Arati Devasher
I love this tea towel as soon as I saw it. I bought it as a gift for a friend who is a chef. He loved it! The colours, design and quality of the tea towel is excellent. The packaging was also really well done. A delight to open.
Lovely colour and quality of the prints. Tea towel looks amazing too! To top it all off, beautifully packaged with TLC! I'm tempted to buy more items!
The art work is fantastic with vibrant colours. The print quality is great and came in a well packaged delivery packet with a personal touch from Arati which was great.
