Book design and page layout for Contemporary Indian Architecture, authored by Jagan Shah.

Client: Roli Books (publisher) – while working fulltime in-house

Details: 978-8-174364-46-3 (2008) ∙ 271 pages ∙ Hardcover ∙ 258x235mm

At the time, this was one of the very few books of its kind, showcasing projects by 20 contemporary Indian architects from 1997-2007. An introductory essay is followed by profiles of the architects, and a few projects including architectural drawings, floorplans and photpgraphs. I used a stylised graph-paper design to bring a little of the tradition of the field into a modern book design.
