This is a book that documents the painted walls of buildings in northern Rajasthan’s tiny desert towns and the unpublished writings and drawings of Col Lockett and Lt Boileau. My design brief was to use small details to bring a flavour of the painted walls of Shekhawati to the book while maintaining an otherwise clean and modern layout.
